Plan disruption and access around the people doing the work. The handover should include the agreed tests, documentation, and a named contact for the next question.

The handover should identify both ends and include the relevant test results. Cabling is separately quoted and is not part of the unlimited IT-project offering. Does a link light prove installed cabling is ready?
No. Ask for appropriate installed-link test results tied to labeled endpoints and checks relevant to the planned speed and power requirements.
What should cabling documentation include?
Location plans, cable and outlet labels, port assignments and agreed test reports should be delivered as usable handover records.
Should every cable be replaced during an upgrade?
Not automatically. Review the selected equipment and installed-link evidence to classify links for reuse, repair, further testing or replacement.
